Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of UP at uplabs.fit, a training-planning service operated by Defineweb Inc. Creating an account means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

Who you are dealing with

uplabs.fit is a service of Defineweb Inc., the company you are contracting with and the company that charges you. “We” and “us” below mean Defineweb Inc.

What UP is, and is not

UP builds a training plan from the race you name and the history you connect, and adjusts it as you train. It is a planning and analysis tool. It is not medical advice, physiotherapy, or coaching from a qualified professional, and it does not know your medical history.

Endurance training carries real risk of injury. You decide what to do each day. Talk to a doctor before starting a training programme, especially if you have an existing condition, are returning from injury, or anything hurts. Stop if something is wrong — the plan will adapt.

Your account

• You need an account to use the app. Accounts are for one person; do not share your login.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your sign-in details safe.
• You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, whichever is higher.
• Give accurate information. Thresholds, dates and available hours drive the plan, so wrong inputs produce a wrong plan.

Connected services

UP can read your activity history from Strava and your recovery data from Garmin Connect, if you choose to connect them. Those services are run by their own companies under their own terms, and UP is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of either. You can disconnect at any time from the Account page; your training history in UP stays until you delete it.

If a connected service changes its API, its pricing, or its terms, parts of UP that depend on it may stop working. That is outside our control.

Payment

Building and following a training plan is free, needs no card, and does not expire. A subscription adds the AI coach: the daily read on your week, the reshuffles when you miss sessions, and exercise swaps. A free account includes a limited number of coach check-ins so you can see what it does before deciding. Subscriptions are monthly or annual at the price shown on the home page, renew until you cancel, and can be cancelled at any time; cancelling stops the next renewal rather than refunding the period you are in. If you cancel, nothing is deleted — your plan and history remain readable. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice.

Your content

Your training data is yours. You grant UP only the permission it needs to run the service for you: to store your data, process it to build and adjust your plan, and send the relevant parts to the AI model that writes your daily check-in. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access another person’s account or data.
• Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute the service or the plans it produces.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the service or work around its rate limits.

Availability and liability

UP is provided as it is, without warranty. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change or be removed.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury, lost training, missed races, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page, which removes your plan and your training data. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why where we reasonably can.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect, and continuing to use UP afterwards means you accept the new version.
